The Automotive Industry is
constantly changing vehicle design to better
suit consumer needs. These changes require
modern machinery and tooling centers in order
to meet the overwhelming need for quality
products at low operating cost.
TMI’s
ability to take existing HVAC equipment and
remanufacture it in the field to the latest
specifications has been extremely successful.
TMI was able to de-construct the existing
equipment to a point which only left the sheet
metal shell of the unit. TMI was then able
to install the following equipment
Intake dampers and return air dampers
Torrit Filter System with controls
Face and bypass steam coils
Direct fired burner gas train and flame safty
controls
Supply fan and motor on spring isolation
PLC controls temperature controls and Motor
Controls
Exhaust fan start panels with interlock.
Upon
completion of start-up and commissioning,
the units were running more efficiently and
TMI was able to maintain building temperature
by only running half of the units refurbished.
The cost savings will be recognized for years
to come.
